Tidy Green Clean, the environmentally friendly commercial cleaning business that operates on a franchise model, has announced that it has grown considerably during the first half of 2021. Growth includes the instigation and development of two new franchise regions, Edinburgh, and Highlands & Moray, appointing a new commercial manager and achieving Achilles accreditation.
Tidy Green Clean (TGC) has now grown to seven different franchises led by Regional Directors across Scotland. The two new franchises have been taken on by Faith Fitzgerald, who is Regional Director TGC Highlands and Moray, based out of Elgin, and Callum Cruickshank and Grant Peterkin, the co-Regional Directors for TGC Edinburgh. Callum and Grant already have a TGC franchise each and the Edinburgh team will be managed day-to-day by Regional Manager, Keith Armstrong.
New to TGC HQ is Calum Johnston, Commercial Manager, who joins with over 30 years’ experience in facilities management and commercial cleaning business development at a senior level. Calum is responsible for growing national and key accounts across Scotland and as TGC grows, across the rest of the UK.
Achilles certification is the latest supply chain global accreditation TGC has acquired, joining its three ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 operating standards, as well as being a registered Living Wage Employer.
Andrew Alleway, TGC’s Co-Founder and MD stated: “There’s no doubt that what Tidy Green Clean offers, to both potential franchisees, employees and customers, is highly attractive and very successful. This is why, even in the challenges presented this year, we have been able to recruit two more Regional Director franchisees and bring on new people. We are delighted to welcome Faith as our new Regional Director for Highlands & Moray; she’s an outstanding individual who brings both commercial cleaning experience and a strong background in business with her. We were also thrilled when Callum and Grant approached us about taking on the Edinburgh business. It’s testament to the success each is having with their Aberdeen franchises and their commitment to take their business forward.”
David Moncur, TGC’s Co-Founder & Ops Director, added: “We are pleased to welcome Calum to TGC HQ. His commercial experience is already proving invaluable with our key account growth strategy, of which our Achilles certification also plays another critical part. Tidy Green Clean continues to shake up the commercial cleaning industry because we put people at its heart and the environment as its focus. This means our customers benefit from high quality service, the latest tech used for cleaning and monitoring our progress, and hygienically clean working environments. Here’s to the rest of 2021, whatever it may bring.”
