Following the acquisition of a specialist cleaning company in 2016 and a leading Liverpool washroom services company last year, Lancashire-based AM Services Group has announced further growth with the creation of a Waste and Washroom Management arm.
The division will support new and existing customers to handle their waste responsibly through the onsite handling and transfer of waste.
AM Services Group has a large number of Tier One Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) sites in its business portfolio. The company can now assist these clients to meet their Duty of Care and support sustainable waste disposal requirements by providing specialist waste management services.
The new division will be led by Nikki Phillips, who has been promoted to the role of Divisional Manager from within the business. Previously Phillips worked as Business Development Manager with AM Services Group and, under her, the washroom services division turnover and profits have increased, some significant new contracts have been won, and a range of innovative new products have been introduced.
Adrian Cresswell, Managing Director of AM Services Group commented: “As our service lines expand, our expertise and experience grow, and we develop our niche markets, this feels like the next natural step for AM Services Group. We like to support people in our business to grow and Nikki has certainly done this during her time with us. I congratulate her on her well-deserved promotion.”
