Atlas stays on at the British Library

Atlas has been re-appointed to deliver cleaning and support services for the British Library.

The contract will see the company continuing to deliver cleaning and support services to the public site in St Pancras, London and the collection site in Boston Spa, Yorkshire ensuring they are clean, safe and operational. The British Library’s collection of over 170 million items includes artefacts from every age of written civilisation, with around three million new items added every year.

The award follows a highly competitive tender process, and the appointment was made through Crown Commercial Services.

Atlas Group Managing Director, Chris Wisely commented: “We are delighted to continue our relationship with a world-leading institution. We highly value the long-term partnership we have developed with the team at the British Library, and we are particularly proud of our people who help keep it clean, safe and well-cared for on a daily basis.”
