Spectrum’s Managing Director, Sara Speirs and Operations Director, Rebecca Bell
Spectrum Service Solutions is to extend its contract with global technology, software and engineering giant Emerson. Having worked with the company for several years at their operations in Cumbernauld and Aberdeen, they will now provide cleaning and consumables services in three English facilities in Stockton, Stockport and Leicester.
Emerson is a global industrial automation leader and a genuine powerhouse driving innovation that makes the world healthier, safer, smarter and more sustainable. Emerson develops solutions in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR), professional tools, cold chain monitoring and food waste management. At the same time, they are expanding their residential and commercial offerings into new, complementary areas such as air quality, food sustainability and smart-home technology.
Spectrum was appointed by property managers, CBRE, with whom it works on several other contracts throughout the UK.
Speaking about the contract extension, Spectrum’s Managing Director, Sara Speirs, commented: “We consider it a privilege to work with Emerson, and we’re delighted they have appreciated our hard work in Scotland enough to entrust us with cleaning these facilities in England.
“These new locations are a welcome addition to our portfolio, which is growing in numbers and expanding in geographical coverage. We look forward to working with the Emerson teams in Stockton, Stockport and Leicester and continuing to grow the Spectrum brand across the UK.”
Regarding the latest win, Rebecca Bell, Spectrum’s Operations Director, said: “All wins are great, but this one’s excellent because Emerson has recognised the outstanding work of our staff to the extent that they have extended their contract to include additional facilities.
“The fact that these contracts are in Stockton, Stockport, and Leicester is especially pleasing because it provides a foothold for the Spectrum brand in the South, which has been on our radar. We are looking to build on this success, both with Scottish clients that have facilities in England and for new England-based clients.”
