Tidy Green Clean Aberdeen celebrates three years of success

Tidy Green Clean franchise Aberdeen North is celebrating three years of success and Regional Director and owner Igors Krumins puts it all down to his great team. The business, which launched just before the Covid pandemic in 2020, has thrived despite challenges early on.

The business is turning over in excess of £1 million and now employs over 70 people. The office team includes Business Development Manager Scott Melville, who now co-owns TGC Glasgow & West with Igors and TGC Forth Valley owner Hugh McGarry; Jessica Walden as Operations Manager; and Lorna Thomson as Supervisor. It works with a range of businesses across all sectors, focusing mainly on office cleaning and ancillary services.

Commenting on the business’s third anniversary, Krumins said: “Our success is down to our great team. Yes, we get excellent support from Tidy Green Clean, with all the necessary accreditations, and our values around People, Standards, and the Environment, great tools and kit, and leading operations processes, but without our fantastic people, we wouldn’t be where we are now.“Everyone pulls their weight, and we all help each other – and most importantly, our clients – to achieve what we all want to achieve. This means we don’t over promise anything, but we do make promises and we keep those promises and that’s why we’ve been able to build the business to this level.”

Tidy Green Clean is the leading environmentally focused national franchise cleaning operation delivering healthy, hygienic environments everywhere. Equipping its Regional Directors with the knowledge, training, and support to be successful business owners, its business model is unique within the facilities management industry. It achieved IS0 9001; 14001; and 45001 in under three years and a place in the top UK franchises and holds Safe Contractor and Disability Confident Employer status.

Krumins added: “Our customers have high standards in their business and expect nothing less from us and we take that load off their shoulders, we do exactly that. Our Operations Manager Jessica makes sure that we deliver everything our clients expect; Lorna delivers the training and monitors our team of exceptional cleaning staff, so she understands everything that’s going on, shift by shift. Scott goes in to start the process and we all pull together to satisfy our customers and look after our staff properly. The biggest thank you goes to our cleaning operatives, who are committed to delivering the service we aim to provide. The strength of the Team is each individual member, and the strength of each individual member is the Team.“Business owners in Aberdeen are some of the best customers in the world and they’re canny and know what they want. We can’t say we’ll never make a mistake, but when we do, we own it, we listen, we respond, and we fix it. That’s what we promise. We provide a single point of contact so it’s easy for customers to speak with us, and we’re available to address any concerns and deal with issues if and when they arise. I’m so proud as we enter our fourth year.”
