Lionsbot International, a leading robotic company headquartered in Singapore and with customers in over 30 countries, has announced that the Rex Cleaning Cobot, operated by Bidvest Noonan at Swords Pavilions, is the recipient of its Worldwide Best Performance award for 2023. The efficient use of the Rex at Swords Pavilions has set it apart, enabling it to outperform other machines from around the globe.
The Rex is one of the most advanced cleaning cobots in Lionsbot’s portfolio. The Rex uses lidar, depth cameras, and sonar sensors to help it navigate and avoid collisions. The machine, which is the largest in the company’s range, can clean 4,000m2 per hour and it can autonomously recharge, empty its wastewater tank, and refill its solution tank.
Bidvest Noonan’s team at Swords Pavilions, one of Dublin’s premier shopping destinations, deploy the machine for large area cleaning, freeing team members to focus on higher value tasks, enhancing overall productivity and service quality.
The award-winning Rex was chosen following an evaluation of performance metrics, such as square meterage cleaned per day, efficiency, and consistency.
