Kelvin Kriel, National Accounts Manager with Christeyns UK, has been appointed President of the Midland Launderers & Cleaners Club for 2025.
Midland Launderers & Cleaners Club was founded in 1951 and is the last remaining Launderers Club in the UK. The club continues to grow and supports its members in a variety of areas as they navigate the challenges of the industry together.
Kriel, who joined Christeyns UK 10 years ago in 2015 as Technical Services Account Manager, is based in the Midlands and works closely with launderers across the region. He has many years of experience in the industry both in the UK and in South Africa in his earlier career.
Kriel commented: “I’m excited and honoured to be appointed to the role and I am looking forward to contributing in whatever way I can this year.”
At its Annual General Meeting last month held in Solihull, outgoing President Sanjay Patel of Johnsons Hotel, Restaurant & Catering Linen handed over the chain of office to Kriel, welcoming him into his new role as President.
