Prime Facility Services has been awarded the contract for cleaning four schools in Wolverhampton under the Elston Hall Learning Trust (EHLT), starting on 1 September 2024. This significant achievement marks another local win for the company, headquartered in Telford, and reinforces its growing presence in the education sector within the Midlands.
A Successful Tender Process
The tender process for this contract began in 2023 when it was part of a joint tender with St Bartholomew’s C of E MAT. In 2024, the tender was re-issued as a standalone opportunity, and Prime Facility Services emerged successful, highlighting the company’s commitment to excellence and service quality.
As a company that prides itself on delivering exceptional service standards, Prime Facility Services says it understands the importance of creating a clean and hygienic learning environment for students and staff.
“We are delighted to have been chosen to provide cleaning services for Elston Hall Learning Trust,” said Dave Edwards, Managing Director of Prime Facility Services. “This contract not only reflects our dedication to maintaining high standards but also our ability to deliver exceptional value to educational institutions.”
Staff Transition under TUPE Regulations
Prime Facility Services will be taking over from Wolverhampton Council, and approximately 17 staff members will be transferred to Prime under the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE). This transition ensures continuity for the schools and job security for the existing staff.
“We are excited to partner with Prime Facility Services,” said Talash Chopra, Trust Business Manager at Elston Hall Learning Trust. “Their reputation for quality and reliability aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.”
