Victor Floorcare, a leading supplier of commercial cleaning equipment, has announced a remarkable 72 per cent surge in revenue from 2022 to 2023, also doubling its turnover in the previous year.
The company, once on the brink of dissolution, has emerged as a “phoenix from the ashes” since being bought out of administration by IIC Products Ltd in 2020.
The business has been making cleaning machines since 1946 and the Victor name has become synonymous with high-performance, reliable and easy to use commercial cleaning machines. Victor Floorcare is the sole supplier of commercial cleaning machines for several notable businesses across the UK and Ireland.
The renewed success has meant that the company has been able to expand its team members three-fold and, with further client wins on the horizon, it is looking at hiring further talent in key areas to support business growth including sales, marketing, operations and the service department.
One such contract is with The Ministry of Justice, including all prisons in the UK. Other notable contracts include all prisons in the Republic of Ireland, Irish Education Service and HC-One Care Home Group which sees the business supply all equipment including vacuum cleaners, scrubber dryers, carpet cleaners to 300 care homes in England, Scotland and Wales.
Edward Blackledge, MD at Victor Floorcare, commented on the success of the business: “The remarkable turnaround that we’ve seen at Victor Floorcare underscores our unwavering commitment to excellence and our determination to reclaim our position as a leader in the floorcare industry.
“We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come since 2020 and risen as a phoenix from the ashes. The future is looking bright for the company with plans to grow the team and continue to increase revenue.”
