Sunbelt Rentals UK and Ireland, the UK’s leading equipment rental company, has announced the launch of its newest business unit, Flooring Solutions.
This strategic move will meet the demands of the facilities management and surface preparation industries, and further strengthens Sunbelt Rentals’ position as the go-to supplier for all equipment rental solutions.
Through its expansive knowledge and expertise, Sunbelt Rentals has meticulously selected the best equipment from leading floor care and surface preparation manufacturers including Tennant, National Flooring Equipment and Husqvarna to ensure customers have access to the latest equipment and technology to drive safety and productivity, whilst delivering an end-to-end solution.
With the launch of this new business unit, Sunbelt Rentals provides the industry with a reliable alternative to the traditional equipment ownership model. This was developed to meet individuals exacting needs, providing flexible rental agreements that allow customers to adapt and scale their business with confidence, without having to make upfront investments or worry about asset disposal at the end of a contract.
Sunbelt Rentals is well-placed to support customers across the UK, with an initial investment of over 250 machines located over three specialist depots. The range includes floor cleaning and carpet care machines from Tennant with walk-behind and ride-on sweepers and scrubber-dryers, plus a robotic machine in the T7AMR.
These are designed to deliver outstanding floor care results, ensuring that facilities uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. There is also integrated IRIS® telematics available across the fleet, which delivers intelligent insight to help customers make informed decisions, driving cleaning performance whilst reducing the cost to clean.
Alongside this Sunbelt Rentals has invested in a range of high-quality surface preparation equipment, purchasing floor scraping and stripping machines from National Flooring Equipment to simplify preparation tasks for dealing with hardened adhesives and heavy-duty floor coatings.
Finally, Husqvarna floor grinding and polishing machines to meet the demands of surface preparation projects, including the latest remote-controlled equipment to reduce the risk of vibration related health conditions.
As a key part of the foundation of the new Flooring Solutions business unit, Sunbelt Rentals has entered into an agreement with Tennant to become its preferred rental partner for floor cleaning equipment in the UK, ensuring customers have access to market-leading equipment. Tennant will become Sunbelt Rentals preferred floor care supplier.
