Window Cleaning Warehouse acquires Wintecs

Window Cleaning Warehouse, a leading supplier in the window cleaning industry, has acquired Wintecs, the UK’s first online window cleaning supplies store. This strategic acquisition marks a significant milestone for Window Cleaning Warehouse as it continues to expand its footprint across the UK.

Founded in 1998, Wintecs has revolutionised the window cleaning supplies market by pioneering the first online store in the UK. With over two decades of experience, Wintecs has established a solid reputation for providing professional-grade window cleaning tools and exceptional customer service. The company’s rich heritage and esteemed position in the industry align seamlessly with Window Cleaning Warehouse’s vision of growth and innovation.

In line with the company’s commitment to expanding its services and enhancing customer experience, Window Cleaning Warehouse has acquired a site in the South East to establish a new warehouse. This new facility will support the firms growing operations and ensure quicker delivery times and better service for our regional customers.

This acquisition follows its successful purchase of Pure Freedom (Adepta Engineering Ltd) in 2022, a leading window-cleaning system manufacturing company in the North East. The integration of Pure Freedom has significantly strengthened Window Cleaning Warehouse’s presence in the UK market and enhanced its ability to serve a broader customer base and bring new products to market.

Stephen Fox, Director of Window Cleaning Warehouse commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Wintecs into the Window Cleaning Warehouse family. This acquisition not only strengthens our product offering but also reinforces our position as a market leader in window cleaning supplies. Building on the success of our previous acquisition of the Pure Freedom Brand (Adepta Engineering Ltd), we aim to provide the window cleaning industry with the ultimate choice of products and ranges.”

Mark Robins, the founder and previous owner of Wintecs, said of the acquisition: “After 25 years supplying window cleaning tools and equipment to the trade, it is now time to move in a different direction. I have every confidence the Window Cleaning Warehouse will continue to care for our customers and wish them every success for the future.”
